The Fluval 407 Canister Filter features eTEC (Efficient Technology) delivering powerful pump performance, reduced energy consumption and ultra-quiet operation. It is the ideal choice for aquariums between 50 to 100 US Gal (150-500 L). The 407 generates 383 US Gal/h (1450 L/h) of constant pumping power and pressure that endures over time. Fluval 07 filters are big on power, yet small on energy consumption. The 407 model draws just 23 watts of electrical energy. The 07 Series features several design refinements that reduce the effort and time involved for maintenance, so you can spend more time enjoying your aquarium, and less time working it. The ergonomic design and raised lip of the Aquastop Valve allow for smoother operation. The 07 series also features Lift-Lock motorhead clamps, single action dual locking clamps for quick release and attachment. The EZ-Lift media baskets have a center handle which allows the main media stack to be removed simultaneously for quick media access. No need to empty the canister of water in order to remove baskets. The redesigned quick primer requires less pumps to engage and has a larger easy grip handle for fast, effortless start-ups.
